Center for Gravitational Physics
What We Study
We aim to unravel the mystery of strong-field gravity as it plays out in the universe. Founded in 2020 as part of the Department of Physics in the College of Natural Sciences, the center brings faculty, research scientists, postdocs and students together to spark new ideas and collaborations in gravitational research.
Researchers
Our interdisciplinary team of scientists are studying a range of areas including black holes, gravitational waves and computational astrophysics.
Waveform Catalogue
Used by researchers around the world, our public catalogue of waveforms is one of only three in the U.S.
